About  Irthlingborough Town Council

When do we meet?
Each month, on the second Tuesday of the month (with the exception of August) at 19:30.  Other meetings can be held as circumstances arise. Call the Town Clerk to obtain meetings and other details about meetings.

 

Where do we meet?
We are taking the Town Council to the people, so meetings will be held in Crow Hill Community Centre or the Day Centre, Victoria Street.

Can members of the public attend meetings?
Yes, but may be requested to leave for special considerations.

 

Can members of the public take part?
Yes, but not vote. However, if anyone wishes to put a point of view to the Town Clerk or the Leader of the Council the Leader and Town Clerk must know at least one week in advance and you may only be allowed to speak for 2 minutes within the 15 minute public section.

 

When is the Council Office open?
Normally from 09:00 to13:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

 

The Structure of the Town Council

The Town Council is made up of twelve councillors: one Independent, one Labour and ten Conservatives making it a strong Conservative led council.
